Employer Match

Double your impact

Did you know your gift to the Boise Public Library Foundation could go twice as far? Many employers match charitable contributions made by their employees, and some also match gifts from retirees or spouses.

If your employer offers a matching gift program, you may be able to double — or even increase — the impact of your donation at no additional cost to you.

Already made a gift?

It may not be too late to have it matched! Some employers allow employees to submit matching requests for donations made earlier in the year. Check your employer’s guidelines to see whether your recent gift qualifies.

How it works

After making your gift to the Boise Public Library Foundation:

  1. Check with your employer to see if it offers a charitable matching gift program. Your HR or benefits team is a good place to start.

  2. Submit your match request through your employer’s giving portal or follow its matching-gift instructions.

  3. Your employer verifies your gift with the Foundation and sends its matching contribution.

Every employer has its own eligibility requirements, deadlines and processes, so be sure to check the details of your company’s program.
