Photography & Video Policy

The Boise Public Library Foundation loves capturing moments that celebrate our community and the people who support Boise's libraries.

At Foundation-hosted events and activities, we may take photographs or record videos to share highlights of our work, recognize community support and promote future events. These images may appear on our website, social media channels, email communications and other Foundation materials.

We respect your privacy. We strive to focus on the events, activities and community connections that bring us together. When an individual is prominently featured, particularly in fundraising or promotional materials, we generally seek their permission before publishing. We take additional care when photographing children.

Prefer not to be photographed? Please let a Foundation representative or event photographer know, and we'll make reasonable efforts to honor your request.

See a photo you'd like removed? Contact us at bplfoundation@outlook.com with a link to or description of the image. We'll review your request promptly and work to address your concerns.

We also respect the photography policies of the venues and community partners that host our events.
